Playworks, a performing arts program for ages 6 and up, is now offering their popular classes and programs in Thornhill. The improv classes at Playworks offers born performers and those who need to break out of their shell an opportunity to express themselves in a fun, friendly and supportive environment.
In the world of improv there are no "lead" roles, everyone is on the same playing field. Using Second City style theatre games, anti-bullying tactics through play and making up commercials; players learn how to act, think quickly on their feet, build self-esteem and improve public speaking skills. Most importantly, the classes are fun and the kids have a blast!
